Georgia Myrtle Drost

Born in Lake Utopia, NB, on December 15, 1906, she was a daughter of the late Curtis and Flossie (Holland) Hatt. Georgie is survived by two sons, Otis Taylor (Prudy) Barry of Maine and Vance (Marlene) Barry of British Columbia; one daughter, Frances Anthony of Pennfield; two step-sons, Ralph (Florence) Drost of Lepreau and Sherman (Wilma) Drost of Alberta; two step-daughters, Marion Balser (Larry) of Oromocto and Juanita Cooke (Davis) of Utopia; one brother, Harley (Eudora) Hatt of Pennfield; two sisters, Blanche (Arvard) Tracy of Utopia and Joan Hart (Bruce) of Nova Scotia; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Leon, Georgie was pre-deceased by one daughter, Gertrude Anthony; brothers and sisters; and her first husband, Otis Barry.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533), with visiting on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held at The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the St. George funeral home on Thursday, January 6, 2005 at 2 pm. Interment will follow at the St. George Rural Cemetery. Donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
